RG1
Public Case Register
The register provides a single filterable entry point to published examples, protocols, and future actual cases. It distinguishes synthetic examples, protocols, public-record cases, anonymised actual cases, and actual published cases.
Function and boundary
The case register is not a judgment register, blame register, or authority list. It is a navigation and traceability tool showing what kind of document has been published, what status it has, what methodological requirements govern it, and whether correction or revision remains open.
The register prevents synthetic examples, protocols, and actual cases from being collapsed into one another. A pedagogical example must never appear as an actual event. A protocol must not appear as a case. An actual case must not appear more open, final, or representative than its status supports.
Fields and filters are methodological boundaries: code, status, publication level, domain, audit type, version, and correction status. They make material findable, but do not themselves establish findings or truth.

Synthetic introductory example: the training claim
Constructed case showing S1–S10, source register, claim matrix, findings, and proportionate correction without actual persons.
Pedagogical example; not an actual event.RA-E-2026-002
Cross-audit using A1–A7: the risk dashboard
Constructed case showing how all seven audit types can be combined without illegal transfer of findings between tracks.
Pedagogical example with F6 capture risk, not F7.Protocol for open sources, public records, versions, quotation, party status, correction trace, and publication grounds.
Protocol, not a concrete case.Protocol for actual material with reidentification testing, source protection, safe contradiction, harm assessment, and controlled closure.
Protocol, not a concrete case.Filterable register for synthetic examples, protocols, actual cases, public-record cases, and anonymised actual cases.
The register contains no published actual cases yet.Public JSON register for examples, protocols, register entries, versions, links, domains, audit types, and correction status.
Machine-readable metadata file; not a finding, judgment, or personal register.Combined log for changed entries, new versions, corrections, reopenings, unpublications, and method revision.
The log currently shows published examples, protocols, and register entries; no actual cases are published.CSV and JSON extracts from the case register and correction log, with schema version, export date, language-pair control, and validation report.
Derived metadata files; the human-readable documents remain canonical.Filters and fields

Status, level, and correction
Code first
Every entry must have a stable code before it is published or shown in the register.
Type must be visible
Synthetic example, protocol, register, public-record case, anonymised actual case, and actual case must not be merged.
Status is not finding
LS status shows work phase, not severity, truth, or finding strength.
Correction status must remain changeable
The register must allow new version, correction, unpublication, or reopening when the grounds require it.
Safeguards and use
No actual cases without protocol
Public actual cases must not enter the register without CP1 or CA1 and without a clear publication level.
No person-register effect
The register must not function as a list of persons, blame, reputation, or institutional judgments.
Least necessary information
A register entry should show enough for navigation and review, but not more than necessary.
Correct channel for correction
Every future actual case must have a visible correction channel without forcing parties or sources into public identification.
Further register programme
Public case register
Filterable register for published examples, protocols, and future actual cases.
Machine-readable register file
Public JSON register for examples, protocols, register entries, versions, links, domains, audit types, and correction status.
Correction and revision log
Combined display of changed entries, corrections, reopenings, and unpublications.
Downloadable register exports
CSV and JSON extracts from the case register and correction log with language-pair control and validation.
First actual case
No actual case should be published before the relevant protocol and safeguards have been used.
