Corrections and Revision
Røyndalism is to remain publicly testable and corrigible. This page defines what may be submitted, which information should accompany a submission, and how a correction or objection is bounded, assessed, and documented.
What may be submitted
A submission may concern both content and publication, but these must be separated in the handling. A technical fault does not automatically alter document content, and a substantive objection is not resolved merely by a technical correction.
- Factual error or unsupported factual claim.
- Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading source reference.
- Terminological error or inconsistent use of a defined term.
- Language, translation, or language-parity error.
- Legal or institutional clarification.
- Methodological objection or identified competence overreach.
- Broken link, route error, accessibility problem, or other technical fault.
- Privacy, source-protection, or publication objection.
- Proposal for substantive revision of an identifiable document or entry.
Minimum information
For a submission to be assessed precisely, it should identify the specific material and the specific ground for correction. General disagreement without an identifiable claim, source, or wording may be recorded, but does not necessarily provide a basis for revision.
- Page or document
- Title, document code, or canonical URL.
- Version
- Document, content, or schema version where relevant.
- Specific wording
- Quotation, paragraph, field, or data row concerned.
- Alleged error or ambiguity
- A precise explanation of what does not hold or what is missing.
- Ground
- Source, documentation, regulation, definition, academic argument, or other reviewable ground.
- Suggested correction
- A specific correction or delimitation where the submitter has one. This is not a condition for a valid objection to be assessed.
Handling procedure

| Assessed | The claim is compared with sources, current version, limits, and relevant competence. |
| Contradiction or source check | Affected presentations or sources are checked where necessary and appropriate. |
| Decision | A determination is made on correction, clarification, rejection, further inquiry, or deferral. |
| Publication | An approved correction is published in the relevant document or data file with the correct version effect. |
| Revision trace | Material corrections are entered in a revision log or document history where relevant. |
Possible outcomes
- Correction
- An identified error is corrected.
- Clarification
- The wording is bounded or clarified without changing the principal content.
- Substantive revision
- The content is materially changed and receives a new document or content version.
- Technical correction
- A link, code, structure, display, or accessibility issue is corrected without a new substantive version.
- Reasoned rejection
- The submission is assessed but does not support correction. The rejection may be documented without publishing all correspondence.
- Further inquiry
- The issue cannot responsibly be determined on the available ground.
Privacy, source protection, and publication
Submitted material is not automatically made public. Submission is not itself consent to publish names, contact details, attachments, or other identifying information.
Before any publication, relevance, rights, privacy, source protection, confidentiality, third parties, and possible harm must be assessed. Material may be summarised, anonymised, withheld, or deleted where necessary and legally or ethically appropriate.
Do not send more personal data, health information, criminal-case information, or other sensitive data than is strictly necessary for the specific submission.
Contact channels
Receipt of a submission does not guarantee a response within a fixed period, an individual academic investigation, or publication. Matters are prioritised by seriousness, documentation, relevance, rights, and available capacity.

Version and revision
Content version 1.0 is the first public edition of the correction channel and handling procedure for royndalisme.no.
Changes to categories, minimum requirements, handling procedure, privacy principles, or contact channels create a new content version. Pure technical improvements to submission or display do not.
