About Røyndalism

Røyndalism is an independent, public, and corrigible realist framework developed from DET SOM ER. The framework is to be assessed by its ground, argument, documentation, and capacity for correction — not by name, person, or institutional prestige.

1

Status and purpose

Røyndalism is the name of the overall framework developed from the foundational work DET SOM ER. It encompasses philosophical placement, theory, terminology, Reality Audit, documentation, correction, and public scrutiny.

Publication on royndalisme.no makes material publicly available and citable in its stated status and version. Publication does not mean that the content is final, beyond correction, or endorsed by an external academic or authority body.

2

Authorship and responsibility

Foundational authorship
Martin Andreas Aasen Vikesland is the author of DET SOM ER and responsible for the original formulation of Røyndalism.
Substantive and editorial responsibility
The published material is edited and maintained under the author's substantive responsibility, with traceable document status and a correction channel.
Publishing imprint
Vikesland Press is stated as the publishing imprint for versioned material where relevant.
Website
royndalisme.no is the canonical Norwegian publication and documentation site for the framework.
3

Independent position

Røyndalism is developed outside a university, research institute, public authority, or party-political mandate. Independence does not exempt the material from academic requirements; it heightens the need for open source use, precise delimitation, traceable argument, and corrigible publication.

The framework invites academic testing, objection, and institutional assessment. Such assessment should address identifiable documents, claims, definitions, and methodological requirements.

4

Institutional limits

Røyndalism and royndalisme.no are not, by virtue of their own publication, a university, research institute, public authority, court, complaints body, supervisory authority, or accreditation body.

The site does not provide binding legal, medical, psychological, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Substantive documents may be used as analytical and assessment material, but cannot automatically replace competent administration, professional investigation, or legal adjudication.

  • A methodological finding is not automatically a legal decision.
  • A linguistic or theoretical assessment is not automatically empirical proof.
  • A published case or protocol is not automatically third-party confirmation.
  • An institutional inquiry or receipt is not the same as academic endorsement.
5

Authority and scrutiny

Authorship identifies responsibility for formulation, but is not itself a ground of truth. Document codes, versions, register entries, and formal design provide traceability, but cannot replace correspondence with what the document refers to.

Røyndalism therefore rejects both personality cult and anonymous authority. Readers should be able to see who formulated the material, what it is grounded in, which limits apply, and how a correction may be raised.

Version and revision

Content version 1.0 is the first public edition of this institutional account.

Changes to status, responsibility, institutional limits, or authority ground create a new content version. Pure design and code changes do not.
